Excuses, excuses, excuses. i always remeber my mom telling me Say, excuses are only used by people who are afraid to admit they are wrong and dont have an answer. Was she right? at the moment i didnt know but now as i grow up i start to realize that she made a very valid point. certain things are done or said to conclude a situation you can not handle therefore relieving the stress of going through it. if you were to ask yourself why did you handle it the way you did or why you said the things you said, sometimes you may find yourself excusing your actions. in your mind it then all becomes better, it sounds better, it looks better and you in some way feel better. in actuality whatever the negative outcome of the situation was will not be changed by the excuses you are telling yourself. why is it that we as a people feel the need to have that much pride that we cant admit to our wrongs and always have to find a way to excuse them. nothing is ever our fault and we tend not to take responsiblilty for the things we do wrong. the excuse is always well i tried or i did this part but he or she did the other and that is where it went wrong. instead of trying to fix a situation we always look down upon it and tend to use invalid reasons to validate the mistake.
i challenge each and every one of you (myself included) to reevaluate yourself and think before you are quick to excuse something. sometimes it is just a matter of recognizing that you are wrong and brainstorming on how the situation can be fixed!!
Whether you take this challenge or not just know that what ever decision you make in any situation you must own up to it and take responsiblity for it whether it is right or wrong but just remember EXCUSES DONT CHANGE OUTCOME!

This is your mother. The reality is that we make excuses because we don't want to do deal with realty. My grandmother always taught me to let my yeses be yes and my no's be no. (that is in the word...read it). So if we want a better outcome the truth is is to be truthful about the place that your in and recognize mistakes will happen. It is how you deal with them. Everything can't be fixed but things can change. You(we) have the power to make that happen. So no more EXCUSES!!!!!!
